UFAC-UK appoints James Hastings-Molyneux to new look management team

UK nutritional supplement manufacturer and supplier to the animal feed industry, UFAC-UK has appointed James Hastings-Molyneux as Area Business Manager, in the latest stage of a client-focused restructuring that is transforming the customer-supplier dynamic.

Robert Jones, UFAC-UK managing director, comments, “We are delighted to welcome James on to the team at this exciting time for UFAC-UK as we redefine the client and supplier relationship, and develop our partnership ethos with distributors, livestock farmers and their nutritionists.”

James, a well-known industry figure, brings more than a decade of experience in the animal feeds and nutrition sector, and will be covering an area encompassing the Midlands, the South East and the whole of Ireland.

He took up the new role at the start of the lockdown period, but has already hit the ground running from his Berkshire base, as he looks to build and develop new and existing business relationships.

“I have been brought in predominantly to further develop Business to Business (B2B) relationship management, ultimately bringing better connection with our end users, through greater engagement across the entire chain,” explains James.

“We are in a people-based business, and I aim to embrace that proactive approach across the ruminant, monogastric, equine and game feed sectors,” he adds.

UFAC-UK is embracing this period of unprecedented change as a catalyst to redefine its position at the forefront of the animal feed sector, delivering proven product performance, advice and values, predominantly to the benefit of the livestock farmer.

A family owned business, UFAC-UK manufactures specialist energy, protein and omega 3 supplements from its dedicated manufacturing plant in Rutland, with particular expertise in the use of oils, fats, amino acids and liquid sugars.

James says, “I very much buy into the new client-focussed approach at UFAC-UK, and look forward to helping to drive brand awareness amongst and alongside our merchant and trade partners, while developing and enhancing these relationships.”

James, 43, also has a keen interest in outdoor pursuits, particularly shooting and horse-riding.

“I look forward to being part of the corporate drive to position UFAC-UK at the forefront of the agriculture sector, raising awareness of our unique range of nutritional supplements to the animal feed industry,” he adds.
