UFAC Welcomes Michael Pine As Area Business Manager For The Midlands

We are delighted to announce that Michael Pine has joined UFAC as Area Business Manager for the Midlands.

Michael joins UFAC with practical experience gained through several summers working within the feed sector at Premier Nutrition. During this time, he was involved in a wide range of production and warehouse operations, including premix packing, product labelling, assembly line work and general warehouse responsibilities.

Having grown up in the Midlands and with a long-standing connection to the livestock industry through his father, Dr Andrew Pine, Michael has developed a keen interest in animal nutrition from an early age and is looking forward to building a career within the sector.

Michael joined UFAC in June 2026 and is excited to be working with farmers, feed merchants and nutritionists across the region.

The opportunity to develop his commercial experience in agriculture was a key factor in Michael joining UFAC. He is also looking forward to expanding his knowledge of animal nutrition, particularly within the ruminant sector, and gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing modern livestock farming.

Michael is particularly looking forward to getting out on farm, meeting customers and building strong working relationships throughout the Midlands. He believes in being approachable, reliable and providing customers with the support they need, while continuing to develop his own knowledge and understanding of the industry.
