    UFAC Welcomes Elliott Gillies As
Area Business Manager For The South East

We are delighted to welcome Elliott Gillies to UFAC as our new Area Business Manager for the South East.

Having joined the business in February 2026, Elliott is working closely with merchants and dairy farmers across the region, building relationships and supporting customers with practical nutritional solutions backed by UFAC’s technical expertise.

    Bringing a Fresh Perspective

Before joining UFAC, Elliott spent around seven years working as a security engineer, installing and servicing fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.

More recently, he worked alongside his wife running a dog walking business, while also supporting UFAC Export Business Manager Dan Day with the marketing and on-farm promotion of a slurry pit treatment product. This involved visiting farms, introducing the product to new customers and providing ongoing product support.

Although new to the livestock nutrition industry, these experiences gave Elliott valuable insight into working with farmers and delivering practical customer support.

    Joining the UFAC Team

Elliott joined UFAC with the opportunity to learn from the company’s experienced technical and commercial team while developing his knowledge of ruminant nutrition.

He has always had a keen interest in animal health and nutrition, particularly the role that balanced diets play in supporting performance and wellbeing. As a dog owner who feeds a raw diet, Elliott has developed an appreciation of the importance of providing the correct balance of minerals and vitamins to support long-term health.

In his new role as Area Business Manager for the South East, he is looking forward to expanding that knowledge within the livestock sector and helping customers achieve the best possible results from their feeding programmes.

    Supporting Farmers and Merchants

Although new to the industry, Elliott is committed to building strong, honest relationships with farmers and merchants across his region.

Customers can expect clear communication, a practical approach and someone who is willing to listen, learn and provide the support they need. By working closely with customers and drawing on UFAC’s technical expertise, Elliott aims to help businesses find solutions tailored to their individual systems.

    Looking Ahead

Speaking about joining UFAC, Elliott said:

“I’m looking forward to learning more about both animal nutrition and the needs of farmers, while building strong relationships with merchants and customers across the South East. Animal health and performance are essential, but supporting farmers is just as important to helping them succeed in what is an increasingly challenging industry.”

Everyone at UFAC would like to welcome Elliott to the team and wish him every success in his new role.
