UFAC UK’s national and international sales and marketing teams come together in UK ahead of new autumn product launch

Recently strengthened by the appointment of two more internationally renowned livestock nutrition experts, the international sales and marketing teams at UFAC UK joined together at the Barnsdale Hotel in Rutland last month, to review, plan ahead and learn of the latest product developments from the UK animal feed and nutritional supplement manufacturer.
Daniel Day, the well-recognised and respected consultant within international agriculture, with a long track record in animal nutrition, has joined UFAC UK in the role of European development manager, and was joined at the conference by Aage Staun, UFAC UK sales agent for Denmark, alongside internationally recognised agribusiness and livestock expert Tony Suckling.
Tony has also joined the team as an overseas adviser covering all territories, reporting to export director Dr Vijay Nigdikar. UFAC-UK exports world-class nutrition and livestock supplements across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Middle East, and has done so for nearly half a century.
During the two-day sales conference, they were joined by senior UFAC UK management, including Dr Nigdikar and managing director Robert Jones, to learn of the latest new developments and a soon to launch new product, continuing the commitment to providing sustainable and high-performance nutritional supplementation.
Mark Townsend, ruminant technical manager, delivered a presentation covering the latest trial work, including for a new product development ahead of its launch later this autumn, while the team were also given updates on overseas activities and plans for the coming months.
It was also an opportunity for the latest recruit to the UK team, Dr Andrew Pine, who brings his vast nutritional expertise and experience to the business, to meet his national and international colleagues together for the first time since his appointment earlier in the summer.
Robert Jones, UFAC-UK managing director says, “This represented a fantastic opportunity to bring the whole team together, particularly after our important new appointments both in the UK and to support our overseas activities.
“We have been leading the way in livestock nutritional supplementation for nearly half a century, but this marks the next phase in our business development. We are delighted to have some of the leading lights in the industry now on board to help deliver exciting new plans and explore new opportunities.
“This includes new product developments, including a new ruminant nutrition product launch that will be reaching the UK market later this autumn, and is something we are all excited about, following the latest trial findings.”
We will be updating our website on the latest product developments in the coming weeks.
